Here's a topic for sharing new palindromes you wrote or found. Be sure to let us know who the author is, and if it's not you, where you found it. Thanks!
by me (Mark Saltveit) for honeymooners out there.
This is from our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/Palindromist), by Michael Shoehorn Conley. (And he says he has more -- hope he shows up here.)
God at last salt a dog. Pretty cocky giving God orders!
Over in the introductions topic, Flyroy posted these and promised more!
Some medic I use damned God, as sad Ogden made suicide memos.
Sam, a Jap sage, irons Noriega's pajamas.
God, Lee H. Oswald, I'm amid law, so heel, dog!
Won't Neil call a Walla Walla client now?
The four from flyroy are old ones from John Kamb, one of the best palindromists around. I'm not sure if flyroy is just posting these as his favorites, or if he IS John Kamb.
FlyRoy is indeed John Kamb, active here and on our Facebook page.

Nice palindromes! I'd love to see more. Don't miss the NPR palindrome contest (I discuss it in the Palindromes in the News forum.)
I wrote this for the NPR challenge (about famous people).
Yo, Jay-Z, all lazy, a joy!
"Art, anise, riff of fire: Sinatra." (My homage to "A man, a plan, a canal: Panama.")
Hi folks, my name is Bryan, hailing from Bellevue, WA. I'm an engineer at a major aerospace company up here, and in my free time (especially during mind-numbing meetings!) I enjoy writing palindromes. Here are several of my original (I think!) palindromes:
1) Raja's Bangalore zaps a spa, zero lag nabs a jar.
2) Barcode? We do crab!
3) Hey Levi, truffle pots stop elf furtively, eh?
4) Elba Dual: laudable!
5) Sweden ozone dews
6) One racist narc rants. I care? No.
7) Tennis: A sin net
8) Top edam enema depot
9) Noise's simple kelp misses Ion.
10) Dolce vita: no native clod.
11) Marge, let's telegram!
Welcome, and well done! Great palindromes, and very original. The only two I've seen anything like are the simplest, #7 and #11. #6 and #10 are especially wonderful. Dolce Vita is a great find. Here's to more boring meetings in your future...
Nice set, Bryan. I haven't seen Sweden before. I'm afraid I have used 'dolce vita' before. On 5 Oct 2007, I wrote:
O native clod, ales reverse "la dolce vita", no?
I sent it to mockOK.com, but it didn't get published, I think because Tim insists on 'English only'.
TwelveTens: "St Racecarts is the patron saint of palindromes."
thishenryjames: "St Emmett is the patron saint of things that aren't quite palindromes."
My god! ... an OIC, if Fay met a real one, telegrams a reviver as Marge let enol aerate my afficionado gym.

"At a droopy revel, if some men owe ivory taxes," I say as I sex a tyro, "View one memo's file - very poor data."
Dopy as sex at an isle ball, I am not upset at net options, as no IT potentates put on mail labels in a tax essay pod.

Nicely done! "Sex at noon taxes" is a classic, but I haven't seen any of the others. Where are you based out of?
Thank you. I am real proud of them. I am really glad to know I may have mostly origionals. Some of them seem so simple(in hind sight?).I am mostly from East Lansing MI but spent a lerge part of my childhood in Oregon, and a more recent stint in Seattle. I Think I saw you were from the NW? This site has re-invigorated my passion so I came up with a couple last night.

God smote Tom’s dog.
I've seen "God smote Tom's dog." before, the other ones, not precisely, but the words involved have been explored. Of course, I always aim to have some combination of letters and words not seen before in a palindrome, but it's a high bar, and not worth throwing out a good palindrome if not met. Please keep 'em coming!
Yes, I'm based in Portland, and Tim Imit of MockOK.com lives nearby. The late Howard Bergerson lived down the valley in Sweet Home, too.
There are some amazing palindromes and palindrome writers on this site. Who knew? I have yet to delve into this site and have only quickly read some of the palindromes and other content. It will take a while to fully grasp some nuance, inflection, pun, etc., which reveal themselves, sometimes slowly, within some the best palindromes
Perhaps I should ponder and opine here regarding my experience with palindromes before I am irreversibly altered with so much palindromary. Oh, just a little!
I started writing them about six years ago with only a few lists of some classics. With no real formal rules that I could find I made up a definition on my own: A sequence of letters the same forward and backward that does, might, could, or would make sense as words, phrases, etc., read forward (at least theoretically, under the most lenient of grammatical criteria). So there are many criteria on which some palindromes can be rated and categorized. Which is best? As with all art, in the end, that’s up to the individual. Length is impressive and desirable but can lack the simplistic beauty and power of a shorter, more concise statement that lends itself better to quotation and potential staying power in the lexicon. I am anxious to learn more about what others think about this and many other palindromatical issues.
Here's a very long palindrome by Erin Masterson, an intense young reader and palindromist. I don't know a lot of the words, and personally prefer them a bit more readable, but this is some kind of amazing, and she swears no computers were used. Definitely check it out:
... on a stake out:
"Wastrel! ... alert ... saw! #$%@!^"
"Recap alert: Saw Denton, not Ned. Wastrel a pacer!"
Here's a new poem (with commentary) by Ray Stein, a new contributor to The Palindromist:
This 'drome poem is about a woman who wants to write a palindrome where the letter "i" appears exactly ten times. She is talented, but an untold number of women have fought and failed to do this. No wonder she tips a glass of wine to celebrate when she dots the tenth "i".
I 'em to do ten "i". With gift alright, nth girl at fight, I wine to dot me "i".
I'm an ole felon, am I.
I wrote this palindrome when Tiger Woods had problems with wife Elin. His veil of secrecy gone, golf's best rep, sadly, fell victim to his ego and age old temptations.
"Emit sad, lose it in a veil. A live temper (Elin's) flogs Tiger away.
Allay a war (e.g. it's Golf's Nile). Rep met evil, a lie, vanities old as time."
In 2010, Apolo Ohno was disqualified from a speed skating event (500m) in the Winter Olympics. When skaters in front of him fell, Ohno skated by for an apparent silver medal. However, a Canadian judge ruled that Ohno caused the mishap and he was DQ'd. Many (including Ohno) felt that the contact was normal and the fallen skaters simply lost their balance and then pretended to have been pushed. Since a Canadian skater was awarded 3rd place after the disqualification, charges of home country bias were rampant.
"On par trek . . a fall ahead . . an act . . a fix, A. Ohno is iced - DQ'd.
See referee's DQ'd decision. Hoax if at Canada, eh? All a faker trap, no?"
"Raps a pun, evil's eye,
It nullifies a bar.
A base, if ill, untie,
Yes, liven up a spar."

Draw no sleep, emit no yawn if rest on birch crib. Not serf in way. On time peels, onward.
"Was never eve newer, cannily, mere Jeremy Lin, nacre we never even saw"
Shortly after taking office, President Obama released some, but not all, memos concerning the CIA interrogation/torture of Al-Qaeda operatives.

In 2010, Lebron James left the Cleveland Cavaliers to join D. Wade and Chris Bosh on the Miami Heat. Cleveland and the whole Erie Lake region was upset and I tried to capture that anger. At the time King James endorsed Nike shoes, hence the title "A Reebok OK" and later the words "Nike No". It helps if you know that the 3 stars signed for 10 million each, Kobe Bryant plays for the LA Lakers, and LA won the title in 2010. BTW I thought Miami would win the NBA Championship in 2011, but they lost to Dallas.
"A Reebok OK
One King Erie hot, no wonder ref, no Cleveland.
Still its story rots Erie civilian, "I maim ogre. We felt it set a Cav a loser."
If one dominates it's a Lebron, "I, Wade tons at egos, no ill, I'm net rat son!"
Tie Bosh to both, so be it, no star. Ten million, so get as noted.
"A win or be last, I set an 'I' mode, no fire."
So LA vacates title, fewer go Miami, nail IV, ice ire, story rots.
Still it's DNA level conferred now onto heir (e.g. Nike No!).
KO Kobe era."

"One no won. Know one no?"
Tried my hand at making up palindromes with the WPC constraints: 1) must use an x and a z; 2) about an event or person famous in last 12 months; 3) about the American Crossword Tournament. Given lots of extra time and all the pressure of sitting at home in my armchair, I came up with:
1) No mix of a Spitz tips a fox I'm on!
2) Gaga delivered ode? Reviled, a gag.
3) Poll? A "gallop"
